Urban Landscape 'Kanaalzone' Helmond | The Netherlands (2014)
In the 19th century and the first half of the 20th, Helmond was transformed from a provincial town into an industrial town by the arrival of textile and metal factories. Due to the construction of the Zuid-Willemsvaart in 1827 through the centre of the city, many old industrial buildings are situated in the heart in the city. Nowadays however, most of the industry has left here. That is why we want to revive the glorious history of these buildings by means of architectural lighting and video projection.
