Office Building 'Die Pyramide' Berlin | Germany (1994)
The office building 'Die Pyramide' is the tallest building in its district and presents an enlarged chronometer. In order to depict this, we made a large clock with the help of light. The hours are represented by 12 green lines on the crown of the building. The pyramid-shaped glass facade on the north side shows the seconds (blue strips of light; for every second an extra light appears to the left and right of the facade). To mark the minute, a flash of light is projected from the top of the building.
