Valley, located on the Zuidas in Amsterdam, is a distinctive building designed by the architectural firm MVRDV. The outlines of the structure consist of sleek, modern facades, but a cleft has been introduced through the heart of the mass to create space for a large outdoor area. This allows for the presence of a fantastic inner garden in this highly urbanized area. The implemented outdoor lighting ensures that crucial public and circulation spaces remain safe and accessible during hours of darkness, respecting or even enhancing the intricate architecture of the cleavage.
