Valley, located on the Zuidas in Amsterdam, is a distinctive building designed by the architectural firm MVRDV. The contours of the structure consist of sleek, modern facades, but a cleft in the heart of the mass creates space for a large outdoor area. The interior is designed in the same style as the exterior, aligning with the cleavage. Functional interior lighting is positioned relatively low on the sides of the passages, inviting users to witness the architectural spectacle above them without being bothered by intrusive light sources.
